Embrace the giving spirit of the season! The Mount Prospect Fire Department is hosting its annual Toy Drive for local children and teens. Donate new unopened and unwrapped toys for children up to age 17. Older children aged 13 and above can be especially hard to buy for. Some great suggestions for kids 13-17 are gift cards, hoodies, hats and gloves, skateboards, lotion and body wash sets, backpacks/duffle bags, sports-themed gifts, or jewelry and hair accessories.

Collection dates are November 10-December 8. The toys will be distributed to local families facing financial hardship who have registered with our Human Services Department. Toy drop-off boxes will be at Village Hall and in the lobbies of all three Mount Prospect Fire Stations: 1601 W. Golf Rd. | 111 E Rand Rd. | 2000 E. Kensington Rd.
