The River Trails Park & Recreation Foundation invites families, businesses, scout troops, schools, churches, libraries, companies, clubs, and all organizations to adopt a tree and participate in a friendly tree decorating contest. Nov 24 – Dec 3, each group can decorate a designated tree in one of the parks. December 5 – 14, each tree will be posted on the RTPD Facebook page for voting. Entry fee for families and local groups is $25, and $50 for businesses. Profits will be allocated to purchasing new trees for our parks.
