The Public Works Open House is a free, family-friendly event featuring prizes, a tour of the Public Works facility, rides in the department’s aerial trucks, a children’s Fun Fact Hunt and a wide range of displays demonstrating how the Village’s water system, sewer system, parkway trees, buildings, streets and vehicles are maintained. Additionally, kids can meet PW Paws, the Mount Prospect Public Works Department mascot. Refreshments will be provided by the Mount Prospect Lions Club.
