Are you prepared for an emergency? To assist, Village of Mount Prospect Emergency Management is hosting its first Disaster Preparedness Expo. This is a free event for all ages. In addition to emergency preparedness topics, there will be kids' activities, prizes, and free giveaways.

• Using a fire extinguisher
• 911 procedures
• Emergency kits
